JAN 17th -A four month-long exhibition of oil paintings by local painter Penny Hauffe will culminate in a free wine and cheese reception Thursday January 17th. The public is invited to meet the artist and view works depicting horse and other animal scenes, portraits, some very interesting still life works at Prudential Carruthers’ Office 4 E Colonial Hwy. in Hamilton from 5 to 7 pm. Dec 2007 Don’t miss the Holiday Homes Tour in our Historic Village of Hamilton - 100% of proceeds benefit the Sunshine Kids Foundation (www.sunshinekids.org). Sunday December 9th from 1-5 PM Four Fabulous Homes will be open to the public, decked in their holiday finery: Maplewood c.1780, the Solomon Ruse House c.1860, Rockwood Manor c.1854, the Rogers House c.1920. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of. They can be purchased at the Hamilton Town office or Prudential's office in Hamilton. Shuttle transportation is provided at no extra charge. Parking is available in the Hamilton Baptist Church parking lot. Tour starts at the Prudential office where warm cider and cookies will be served.
